Based in Umbria, Where to Stay offers holiday accommodation at unbeatable prices!

I have been living in the north of Umbria, in the area called the Upper Tiber Valley for several years now, always working within the tourist sector in two very different, but beautiful luxury Country Houses. During this time, I have been able to discover the region and share my knowledge of its history, beauty, art, culture, great places to eat and, of course, where to stay…

Finding good accommodation can be difficult and time consuming. Surfing the internet can produce hundreds of options and it is difficult to know where to start and how much of what is visible on websites is reliable.

These B&Bs, Country Houses, apartments, agriturismi and villas have all been carefully chosen by me for their location, hospitality and welcome given by the owners, their comfort factor (after a long day sightseeing, is it a place that you look forward to returning to…) and the facilities offered.

Living in the area means that apart from helping choose the right accommodation for you, as I know the owners and their properties extremely well, I can also give you advice on the best places to visit including some of the more hidden jewels of this region, some of the nicest places to eat, what’s happening locally and a good insight into what you should do while you are holidaying in Umbria!

My aim is to offer a personal and friendly service to help select the right place to stay so that you can enjoy your holiday in this beautiful part of Italy to the full.
