Located in the very heart of Cittą di Castello historic town centre are the lovely self catering apartments at the Antica Canonica. Now renovated, the Antica Canonica once housed priests during the 15th century. The recent restoration maintains the original structure of the building as well as its typical renaissance features.
The door frames in all of the apartments are built with the original architraves in pietra serena stone from the 1500's. The Canonica has enchanting rooms with decorated beamed ceilings and a 15th century fresco. From the windows and balconies of the apartments, guests can see the famous cylindrical bell tower and more than a thousand years of history in the surrounding buildings and churches.
The apartments offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing holiday in unusual accommodation situated in the historical centre of the town. All apartments are equipped with kitchen, living room and bedroom(s) and are furnished with handmade furniture made by local craftsmen.
Guided tours are available as are international painting workshops, cooking classes, wine tasting and truffle hunting...

Superior Apartment
Two or three room apartments for 2+2 people, consisting of a living room with a double sofa bed, kitchenette or kitchen, bedroom (double) and bathroom.
Family Apartment
Theis apartment is the ideal solution for two adults and two children, consisting of a large dining-sitting room (including a double fold-out sofa bed) a kitchen, an ample bedroom (double) and a bathroom. An extra bed or a cot can be provided on request.
Deluxe Apartment
Apartment for 4 people consisting of a living room with a double sofa bed, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Prestige Apartment
Apartment for 6 people, consisting of a living room, a kitchen, three bedrooms, balcony and 2 bathrooms.
Antica Canonica offers a variety of accommodation with flexible lodging plans to meet the needs of their guests throughout the high and off-peak seasons. It is possible to rent all the apartments (accommodation for up to 40 guests) to a group or family. Also rental of the flats can be paired with organized activities and programs such as courses in foreign languages, art or cuisine, cultural activities and tours, or bicycle or motorbike tours.
