Casa del Nomade is a lovely ancient Umbria farmhouse converted into 4 self catering apartments with swimming pool, a rare jewel, far away from everyday life, a true retreat in the heart of Umbria. Furnished in contemporary minimalist style, combining a wonderful mix of rustic, antique and modern, creating a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.
The villa is situated in a panoramic country area, in landscape unspoilt by modern day development, and still maintains its rustic and natural essence. Parts of the building date back to the 15th Century and you can feel the history seeping out the stones of the building. Each apartment has a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and dining table and chairs.
To reach Casa del Nomade, there is a short, steep untarmaced road, adding to the charm of the villa. Guests can really take time to relax and revel in the nature surrounding them. Umbertide, the nearest large town with all facilities is 20 minutes drive away.
Situated in the heart of Umbria, near the Antognolla Golf Course, Perugia and Lake Trasimeno are within easy reach. Gubbio, Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Todi, Deruta and Montefalco are also easily accessible as is Siena in Tuscany.

On two levels, Casa Grande is the largest apartment with the with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms

In a cottage,separate from the main house, on ground floor level, Apartment Essiccatoio is a 1 bedroom apartment opening on to the swimming pool area.

Swimming pool
The lovely swimming pool measures 14 by 6 square meters. It is coated with the color terra ("earth") which gives the water a greenish reflection, in keeping with the natural surroundings. The pool is bordered by a stone-paved solarium with sun loungers, umbrellas and pergola.
