Casa della Felicità is a stone built Umbrian farmhouse with outbuilding that has been sympathetically rebuilt using regional traditional materials. Located in the heart of farmland there is a great sense of peace and tranquility. Although the main farmhouse is for the owners’ personal use, the outbuilding has been converted into two luxury apartments, both available for self catering holidays. The larger apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the smaller, ground floor apartment has one double bedroom and one bathroom.

Both apartments are finished to the highest standards of comfort and offer light and spacious accommodation. Chestnut beamed ceilings and terracotta floors are a feature throughout.

The apartments share the use of a wonderful 12m by 4m salt water swimming pool with unspoilt views across the Umbrian countryside.

Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with Smeg appliances including oven and gas hob, fridge and dishwasher. There are shared laundry facilities. There are TVs with DVD use only, CD player and radio in each apartment.

Situated just 15 mins drive north of Perugia the apartments are perfectly located to explore and discover Umbria with Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Gubbio, Montone, Cortona, Siena, Todi, Deruta and Montefalco all also within easy reach. The cottages are also very near a championship golf course, so perfect for anyone considering a golfing holiday here in Umbria.

Apartment Celestina – sleeps 4-6

Steps lead down from the car park to the apartment along a stone path and landscaped gardens. This spacious two bedroom apartment is arranged over two floors and has a bright open plan lounge/dining area, fully fitted kitchen, master en-suite bathroom and second shower room. There is a terraced area and private lawn next to the private entrance to the apartment and a pathway leads down to the swimming pool.

The kitchen is contemporary design and is fully fitted with granite work tops, stainless steel sink with overhead drainer, Smeg electric oven with 5 burner gas hob, stainless steel extractor fan, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a shared washing machine in a separate laundry cupboard.

A living room area with twin seater sofa, double sofa bed and coffee table leads off a large dining area with solid oak dining table and six chairs. A floor to ceiling window gives views over the valley and surrounding countryside and there is a TV with DVD use, a CD player and a radio.

The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, blanket box and chest of drawers. There is an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and blanket box. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower with oversize shower head.

Apartment Suolo – sleeps 2 – 4

Steps lead down from the car park through landscaped gardens to a large terraced area and private garden with a path down to the swimming pool. The one bedroom apartment is spacious with an open plan living/dining area, fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with shower.

French doors lead from the terrace into the main living area of the apartment, where there is a lounge with 2 sofas and a table and chairs for 4 people. Off the living area is a contemporary fully fitted kitchen with Smeg appliances. The bedroom is large and has an en-suite bathroom.

Swimming Pool

The lovely salt water swimming pool (12m x 4m) has magnificent views across the valley and rolling Umbrian countryside. The pool is shared by both apartments.
