3 independent cottages sleeping 2; 2-4; 4-6

These beautiful cottages have been lovingly restored by the owners and are situated high on the hillside in the Pierantonio valley with incredible views towards Assisi and Monte Subasio. Each has its own private terrace with covered pergolas and enjoy the stunning views. Inside the cottages are restored in a lovely, unpretentious way featuring original stone walling and ancient wooden beams with terracotta tiling and have simple, elegant and comfortable furniture.

Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with 1 electric and 3 gas hobs, compact oven with grill and a fridge. The bathrooms all have deluge high pressure showers with oversize shower heads and hairdryers are provided. There is a stereo with CD and radio and a satellite TV point in each accommodation. The terraces have outside furniture including table, chairs and deck chairs.

Bed, bathroom and kitchen linens are provided and there is a welcome pack on arrival including breakfast for the first morning, complimentary bottle of wine and basic necessities, olive oil, salt, pepper etc…

Situated 20 mins drive north of Perugia and 25 mins drive north east from Lake Trasimeno, the cottages are perfectly located to explore and discover Umbria with Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Gubbio, Montone, Cortona, Siena, Todi, Deruta and Montefalco all also within easy reach. The cottages are also very near a championship golf course, so perfect for anyone considering a golfing holiday here in Umbria.

Cottage Rosellina – sleeps 2

This studio cottage is perfect for a couple and has wonderful views down into the valley. The apartment has a double bed, seperate dining/sitting area, a fully equipped corner kitchen and independent bathroom with shower.

Cottage Wisteria – sleeps 2 – 4

Perfect for a family or two couples, the lower level of the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and sitting/dining area with a double sofa bed (ortopaedic) and leads onto a private terrace. Glass enclosed, original external stairs lead up to the top level with a landing leading onto a double bedroom (twins or double bed) and a separate bathroom with shower. The stunning views from the terrace make this a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine, looking across the valley to Assisi and Monte Subasio beyond.

Cottage Rosmarino – sleeps 4 – 6

The lower level of the cottage consists of a twin bund bed room, with independent shower and bathroom, living/dining area with double sofa bed and fully equipped kitchen. Above is a mezzanine level double bedroom with either a double or twin beds. Excellent accommodation for a family group.

Swimming Pool

The stunning swimming pool (14.5m x 4.5m) is at the top of the property with magnificent views across the valley. There is a large terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas and a pergola.
The pool area has been fully fenced in such a way that it is secure from children entering but it does not affect the view from the pool. A thermal blanket is fitted to ensure it remains at
Facing south, the pool area has sun throughout the day and owing to its location often benefits from a refreshing breeze bringing welcome relief from the heat of the summer.
The perfect place to enjoy a cool glass of 'Vino Bianco' and watch the evening sun set across the mountains!

Pizza night

The owners live in the main house in the grounds (pictured left) where there is a traditional outdoor woodburning bread oven. Once a week, they hold a pizza night when they encourage their guests to try their hands at making their own pizzas!

Other Facilities

The owners offer the following for guests’ use free of charge during their stay:

Child travel cot, high chair and baby bath; portable barbeque; TV with DVD, video and Italian Satellite; Picnic hamper; Golf clubs; tennis racquets; umbrellas.

In the main house there is a library with books for guests to borrow and also travel maps and guides to the local area, internet connection, childrens books, cookery books, selection of games and DVD and video library.
