This lovely Relais has been beautifully restored as a private villa for rent with heated swimming pool, near Citerna, Umbria. Divided into 5 independent apartments, each with its own bathroom, kitchen and living area, the restoration has combined modern ecofriendly techniques with history and tradition using handmade bricks, local stone, chestnut beams and terracotta floors to create this lovely villa, carefully furnished and decorated in beautiful shades.

There is a spacious and comfortable living room with wicker sofas and chairs and an open fireplace. There is also a dining table and chairs providing enough room for everyone staying at the villa to dine together. With great attention to detail, each apartment has a bedroom, well equipped fitted kitchen, bathroom, some with additional separate basin area, table and chairs and terrace with table and chairs. All apartments have Satellite LCD TVs and wi-fi is available free throughout the Relais. The swimming pool is heated (via solar energy) even in the summer months and there are plenty of loungers at the poolside.

The owners have also provided a fully equipped fitted kitchen (leading on to the living/dining area) for guests to use when renting the villa in exclusivity. It provides the perfect way for meals to be prepared together and is on the ground floor making it easy for guests to come in from the garden for refreshments without having to return to their rooms.

The village of Fighille is just a short walk from the apartments with bar, post office and smalll supermarket and the beautiful medieval hamlet of Citerna is just a 5 minute drive away. Pistrino, a thriving village is also nearby with bars, shops, chemist etc.

The owners have their own organic vegetable plot in the gardens and share their produce with guests staying at the villa. There is an original wood burning oven, where the owners will help guests cook a fantastic roast dinner.

Situated just on the border with Tuscany, Sansepolcro, Anghiari, Monterchi and Arezzo are within easy reach. In Umbria, Città di Castello, Montone, Perugia, Lake Trasimeno, Gubbio, Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Todi, Deruta and Montefalco are all also within easy reach.
