Where to Stay in Umbria | |
| A personal selection of apartments, B&B, hotels, private villas and agriturismi in Umbria from simple, family run accommodation or self catering to luxurious country houses | |
Sleeps up to 12/13 guests
With a history dating back more than 800 years, this beautiful villa has recently been restored and converted into three self catering apartments, each with independent entrance, two or thee bedrooms, living room/dining area, kitchen and bathroom. The villa can be rented by individual groups, sharing the stunning swimming pool or by a large family group or friends wanting to holiday together.
Situated on the hillside in the Morra valley in Umbria, on the border with Tuscany, there are fantastic views in all directions. Città di Castello, Montone and Umbertide are 25 minutes drive away and Cortona in Tuscany, is just half an hours panoramic drive.
The apartments all feature wooden beams and terracotta floors, so traditional to this area and are very comfortable and welcoming. There is a television in all apartments.
Perfectly situated, it is an ideal base from which to explore both Umbria and Tuscany with towns like Perugia, Gubbio, Montone, Todi, Orvieto, Cortona and Siena within easy reach as well as the city of Florence.
This is a great area for excursions on foot, with guided hiking or mountain biking also available.
