Villa Pierantonio is a wonderful restored stone farmhouse, located on the Antognolla estate, enjoying a stunning infinity pool, wonderful gardens and fantastic views.

Situated 20 km north of Perugia and 15km from Lake Trasimeno on the border with Tuscany, the villa is perfectly located to explore and discover both Umbria and Tuscany with Gubbio, Montone, Cortona, Siena, Todi, Deruta, Montefalco and Assisi all within easy reach.

The property has direct access to Antognolla Golf Estate where there is a championship 18 golf course, bar and wonderful restaurant.

Guests enter the grounds of the estate with a pass through a secure gate, ensuring this is a very private and safe property to spend your holiday. There is approx 6 kms of gravel road from the entrance of Antognolla to the Villa, this is a well maintained road, but it can be steep in parts and is gravel.

Accommodation

Built in the late 16th century, Villa Pierantonio has been carefully restored to preserve its original character and charm. With its hand-carved ceiling beams, terracotta floor tiles and wrought iron fittings, the villa has been tastefully and comfortably furnished with antiques and custom made furniture.

There is one double bedroom and one twin room in the main house both with ensuite bathrooms. There is an adjoining cottage annex in the garden, with a lovely twin bedroom and ensuite bathroom.

The kitchen is well equipped and has a dining table that can extend to seat 10. There is a seperate utility room with a washing machine. The living room is large with comfortable chairs and sofas, with an open fireplace, Satelite TV and DVD player, small library with books and guidebooks.

Upstairs on the landing there is a charming window seat offering magnificent views of the countryside and a cozy place for a quiet moment or to read.

The house is surrounded by gardens with olive trees, lavender and rosemary. Located in a promient position overlooking the Antognolla estate there is a 12 by 6 metre stunning infinity pool (shared with the adjoining property, a private villa sleeping 6). This is surrounded by grass and terracotta terraces and furnished with umbrellas and sunbeds. At night the house and gardens are illuminated with soft atmospheric lighting.
